YMCA of Northern BC expands Child Care Services to Chetwynd
Prince George and Peace Region communities, BC – The YMCA of Northern BC is excited to celebrate their expansion of their quality child care services to Chetwynd, BC.
Located on the Northern Lights College campus, the YMCA Chetwynd Care and Learning Centre will open September 1st (license pending) with 25 spaces for 3-5 year olds.
Registration will begin in early August; specific dates and information will be announced soon. Priority access will be given to Northern Lights College students and staff, followed by children enrolled in the pre-existing child care program at Northern Lights College.

We are committed to delivering child care services that focus on improving early learning outcomes while supporting families to have child care options while living and working in this valuable northern community.”
The YMCA is the largest not-for-profit child care provider in Canada. YMCA Child Care programs use the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum. The YMCA of Northern BC Child Care Services currently provide quality programs for over 600 children from 0 to 12 years in Prince George, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James and Fort St. John.
