Programs & Info
Drop-in Hockey is open to ages 16+ years.
- Helmet and gloves are required.
- No referees
- Please note: There are no skate rentals available at Kin 2, so participants must bring their own equipment at this location
This ice time is allocated for people of all ages and provides skaters an opportunity to practice stick handling and shooting skills.
- All participants are required to wear helmet and gloves.
- No goalies, slapshots, or scrimmages are permitted.
- Bring your own stick, pucks, and rings.
- No additional training equipment allowed on the ice (shooter tutors, stick handling aids, cones, etc.).
- Children aged 12 and under are to play with their adult guardian.
*Stick and Puck will not occur on any Spruce Kings game days.
The time is reserved for preschool-aged children and guardians.

Monday to Wednesday: Kopar Arena • 9:45 a.m.–11:45a.m.
Friday: Elksentre • 9:45 a.m.–11:45a.m.
Not available on stat holidays, Non-Instructional Days, or over Winter Break
Cost: $50/hour plus skate rental fees

Rules and Expectations
- Unsafe behaviour is not allowed
- No skates in the bleachers
- No food, gum, or drink on the ice
- No use of earphones or handheld devices on the ice
- Helmets are mandatory for children under 18 years of age
- No carrying children or babies on the ice
- Report all injuries/incidents to staff immediately
- Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted
- Violence, foul language, intimidation, and abusive behaviours are not permitted
