The YMCA of Northern BC is excited to be a part of Boogie with the Stars on New Years Eve! Our very own Star Dancer, Prince George Family Y Centre Manager: Shannon Johnson, will be competing to raise funds for YMCA Strong Kids!
As a charity dedicated to building healthy communities, we believe that health is a right, not a privilege which is why we do not turn anyone away due to an inability to pay. Our goal is to make health accessible by eliminating financial barriers to our community can be healthier and happier. That is why the YMCA raises funds all year, so we can provide financial assistance to those who need it most. 1 in 5 children requires financial assistance to participate in YMCA Camps and Programs. Our Annual Strong Kids Campaign makes our YMCA accessibility possible. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live healthier, happier lives.
