Although the community of Fort St. James continues to be in an evacuation alert, news from the Shovel Lake fire has been more optimistic this week as the fire has not moved closer to either Fort St James or Highway 27.
As conditions remain stable, we will reopen our Fort St. James Care and Learning Centre group child care and preschool on Tuesday September 4th.
